Disappearing Four patch quilt

The cold weather is perfect for quilting and hand sewing. My oldest daughter wanted to make a quilt for her grandmother. She made this Disappearing Nine patch in 1930's reproduction fabric. The picture below on the left side is my quilt (more picture over here and here) and on the right side is her quilt. I cut her four patch blocks in bigger strips. We used the same quilting pattern on both quilts.
Below is more pictures of my daughter's quilt. I am sure my mom is going to love her quilt.
Pink backing with a blue and pink binding.
Another picture with my washed quilt on the left and her unwashed quilt on the right. I love my quilts washed and wrinkled.
I love my 1930's reproduction fabric. I have this one quilted and need to do the binding.
I am working on my zig-zag quilt's binding. I used some purple left over backing for the binding.
Thanks for stopping by and happy quilting. Do you have a special quilt project you are working on? I am currently working on a pink, purple, and green string quilt.

The disappearing four patch is one of my favorite patterns, and it looks wonderful done in the 30s fabrics! :0)

Hello,
your quilting is great! I also like the 1930s quilt a lot. I looked elsewhere on your blog but couldn"t find information about it. Could you help me find the pattern? A sort of disappearing 9 patch, perhaps? Thank you.
PS I've come from Paulette's blog (SweetP).

Love your quilts and quilting. I am working on an eleven year old UFO wedding quilt. Four more pieced blocks and can put the center of the quilt together.

You and your daughter made some mighty pretty quilts there Millie! Isn't it good to see her sharing your passions! As always, your quilts and your quilting are just lovely. (I like the 1930's prints, too. I think I need to make another quilt with some of them!)

Lovely! I am currently between projects (not counting some UFOs) and plotting projects for a retreat. A disappearing 4 patch might be a good one to bring - though I am also debating starting a Judy Martin log cabin...
