Yeah, my 16 patch is quilted. I started this scrappy quilt at least two years ago and thought I'm never going to get it done. I added a few solid squares with the 30's reproduction fabric.
I'm glad I went with a border. Now I can't wait to get the binding on.
Another top I quilted and I love how the quilting shows up on the white fabric. I am going to keep this one for myself.
I quilted Michelle's Cake Mix quilt. The fabric is beautiful. I made a Cake Mix quilt before for myself using a layer cake and jelly roll, but I think it will make an adorable scrappy quilt. I'm always looking for cute and fast patterns to use my stash.
Happy quilting,
Millie
Beautiful quilts and quilting, Millie.
ReplyDeleteWow you have been busy!! Love all the quilts!!
ReplyDeleteI like both your quilts, Millie, and I see a lot of fabrics in that 16 patch that I have or have used. I love the 30's prints, too. And what a beautiful job of quilting on all of them. I seem to remember you posting about a cake mix quilt and this one you've quilted is really pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour 16 patch is amazing. And you used your scraps over the years! I hope you will be telling how you used the scraps, chose them, saved them etc to make this wonderful quilt. I want to make one like it, but just dealing with all those scraps...makes me put it off...but with seeing yours...I am inspired again!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful MIllie! Eye candies!
ReplyDeleteHappy quilting!
Great work on your 16 Patch quilt!
