A finished quilt and 2 tops done

My pink and green Roman Blade quilt is all done...just have to wash the quilt to get the crinkled look

The Waverunner top is done. I flipped a few blocks, but I am not going to take one seam apart. I think I like to add one border in maybe a grey color. Victoria at Bumble Beans has a great tutotial on how to make the Waverunner top.

My daughter's Turning 20 quilt is all squared up and ready for the binding. I cut the leftover batting up in 6" blocks for a rag quilt.

The same time when I was making my daughter's Turning 20, I was also working on a second Turning 20 from my Christmas stash.

I made a scrappy backing from the leftover fabrics.

On Monday I quilted the blue and yellow quilt for Margie with the Field of Flowers panto.

Yesterday I had Lynette's Dinosaur quilt on the frame. Another quilt with the Bubbles panto.

The backing of the quilt is this flannel dot fabric which is the same as the cotton fabric on the borders.

Happy Quilting!

Love the quilts.

What size block is the Roman quilt?

Lots going on! The wave quilt is just terrific. :) And the dinosaur quilt is really fun -- those fabrics really set it off.

Hi Sandy! I did not follow a pattern with the Roman Blade quilt. I used a 9" square for the foundation and just sewed the strips on the fabric. I have made another quilt with 8" blocks. You can make the block smaller or bigger if you like too.
